Growth Regulated Protein gamma (GRO gamma) is a cytokine that may play a role in inflammation and affects endothelial cells in an autocrine fashion. It belongs to the intercrine alpha family (small cytokine c-x-c) (chemokine cxc).Rat CINC2 beta (Cytokine Induced Neutrophil Chemoattractant 2 beta) is a member of the CXC subfamily of chemokines which also includes three other rat CXC chemokines (CINC1, CINC2 alpha, CINC3/MIP2). The rat chemokines CINC show sequence similarity to human GROs and mouse MIP2 but not IL8. Mature CINC2 beta shares 63% amino acid sequence identity with CINC1 and 80% identity to CINC3. Rat CINC2 beta cDNA encodes a 68 amino acid residue protein. The mature recombinant protein has a predicted molecular mass of approximately 7.6 kDa. Based on sequence homology, it has been suggested that CINCs are the rat counterpart of the human GROs. Product :

Describe :

Blocking peptides are peptides that bind specifically to the target antibody and block antibody binding. These peptide usually contains the epitope recognized by the antibody. Antibodies bound to the blocking peptide no longer bind to the epitope on the target protein. This mechanism is useful when non-specific binding is an issue, for example, in Western blotting (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC). By comparing the staining from the blocked antibody versus the antibody alone, one can see which staining is specific; Specific binding will be absent from the western blot or IHC performed with the neutralized antibody.
