The armadillo (ARM) repeat family of proteins are related to the Drosophilamelanogaster armadillo protein, a protein essential for wingless signal transduction. ARM proteins are involved in a variety of processes such as cellmigration, cell proliferation, tissue maintenance and tumorigenesis. They areintracellular proteins and function in signal transduction and cell structure. ARMCX3 (armadillo repeat containing, X-linked 3), also known as ALEX3(ARM protein lost in epithelial cancers on chromosome X 3), is a single passmembrane protein belonging to the armadillo repeat family of proteins.ARMCX3 contains three ARM repeats and shares 60% sequence similaritywith the related proteins, ARMCX1 and ARMCX2. ARMCX3 is believed toplay a role in embryonic development and tissue maintenance and may alsofunction as a tumor suppressor. Product :

Describe :

Blocking peptides are peptides that bind specifically to the target antibody and block antibody binding. These peptide usually contains the epitope recognized by the antibody. Antibodies bound to the blocking peptide no longer bind to the epitope on the target protein. This mechanism is useful when non-specific binding is an issue, for example, in Western blotting (WB) and Immunohistochemistry (IHC). By comparing the staining from the blocked antibody versus the antibody alone, one can see which staining is specific; Specific binding will be absent from the western blot or IHC performed with the neutralized antibody.
